Crafter of the Week – Jean Marmo

Congratulations to our Crafter of the Week – Jean Marmo of Rockford MI.

“With both of my children living away from home, I do not scrapbook as much as I used to. I still love to create mini albums of vacations and holidays when we are all together. Other scrapping includes new jobs, new houses and many layouts of the dog! We are expecting a new grand baby in April, so my scrapbook supplies will once again be getting a workout.

I found a way to re-purpose my supplies by creating a mixed media canvases. I use paints, inks, papers, stamps, stencils and more. There has even been a crossover of the mixed media into my scrapbooking! I am having fun as I experiment and learn.

Creating is not only a way to preserve memories for my children and generations to come but it is also a way to express myself. I would never have thought I would be creating canvases, but I am enjoying this artistic aspect of my life. I would love for you to visit me at my blog – Pagesintime. Thanks, Create and Craft!”
