In full disclosure . . . I do not sew. It’s a skill that I’ve always admired in others. After hosting dozens of sewing shows and being inspired, I broke down and finally bought a sewing machine! This summer, Tattered Lace launched four fabulous collections on Create and Craft that were a huge success. The first was Christmas Glow featuring Flectere dies, then there was the very elegant Deco Christmas, the stunning Wonderful in White, and Fantasy Christmas. All amazing and all very different. You can make your beaded spider in any size and color you like. Attach to brooch backs or use as embellishments for your home decor… they are fun and simple to create, and a great use of leftover beads! If you want to wear your spider, you may wish to use a thicker wire for the legs so they stay in position and are not as delicate to touch! – Sarah Millsop
