Debbie Shore’s Fabric Christmas Tree

Debbie Shore’s Fabric Christmas Tree

Christmas is right around the corner now, and Christmas tree decorations are on everyone’s crafty minds… but what about the rest of your home? Once the tree itself is covered in baubles and sparkle, how do you plan on adding festive touches to your tables, windowsills and mantelpieces this December? We think we’ve found the perfect solution in this gorgeous fabric Christmas Tree project from the fabulous Debbie Shore. Check out Debbie’s video tutorial below and see exactly how it’s made, then you can add multiple Christmas trees to your home in time for the big day! Why not create a little forest of multicoloured Suffolk puff trees in varying sizes? Try decorating with buttons, sequins or even adding lights for a truly festive finish!

Finished size: 9” tall; 6” across

You Will Need:

Materials for two trees:

For one tree, cut:

  • 10 circles of fabric, one measuring 12” across, then 11”, 10”, 9”, 8”, 7”, 6”, 5”, 4” and 3”. You will find a sliding gauge useful for this!
  • 10 circles of foam, one measuring 6”, then 5.5”, 5”, 4.5”, 4”, 3.5”, 3”, and 2.5” [These are half the size of the circles, you don’t need one for the smallest fabric circle]
