DIY Spring Wreath Tutorial:

Step 1:

Create enough pom-poms to fill your spring wreath. I used around 35 pom-poms for a 20cm-wide / 8”-wide wreath. Create lots of interest with different sizes and colours. There are lots of great pom-pom makers on the market that will help speed up the process! If you’re making a large wreath, you could buy some premade felt pom-poms to act as fillers.

Step 2:

Now you have your pom-poms, wrap the hessian ribbon around the wreath. This will help the pom-poms to stick firmly if you are using a foam wreath, or act as a base if you decide to use a metal wreath. Use a hot glue gun to attach the end of the ribbon to the wreath and then wrap it around, applying more glue to ensure it sits flush to the wreath. Once you’re done, trim the end of the ribbon.

Step 3:

Now you can start gluing down your pom-poms, starting with the biggest and filling the gaps with the smaller ones.

Step 4:

If you like, you can now add extra embellishments. I added some small bells and tassels.

Step 5:

Hang on your door and enjoy!
