Screen Sensation: Fun Facts You Need To Know

Screen Sensation: Fun Facts You Need To Know

Here at Create & Craft, we just love an exclusive. We had a very special exclusive launch of our Screen Sensation screen printing tool last year — but the launches didn’t end there. Since then, we’ve brought you a beautiful range of new screens to get stuck into. If you’re yet to jump on the Screen Sensation bandwagon, here are some fun facts to get you excited!

10 Screen Sensation Facts You Need to Know

1. Presenter and Creative Director, Stephanie Weightman, worked on perfecting Screen Sensation for approximately 2 years! She worked tirelessly to ensure it’s the perfect screen printing kit for your needs.

2. The screens themselves have been rigorously tested to ensure incredibly crisp detail in every print. They will last you years and provide you with thousands of perfect prints.

3. The inks can be mixed together to create unique blends. We even have empty pots for you to store them in. Plus, they come with labels so you can keep them organized. You can make a fantastic array of colors by simply mixing the primary inks — before you even add black or white to lighten and darken!

4. It costs approx. 9¢* per print from a 155ml pot of Screen Sensation ink! (*Based on a continuous run of full prints of one solid color.) This means that you can make about 130 prints from just one pot.

A Tool That Keeps on Giving

5. The Screen Sensation unit fits in your kitchen sink, making it easy to use, clean, and store time and time again. It’s light and robust, but also sturdy and reliable.

6. You can sell your designs! Our angel policy means that anything you create with your Screen Sensation can be sold afterwards, like dishcloths with your prints on them. This means that purchasing one kit could have you well on your way to starting your own business at home!

7. Seamless screen designs have been created to allow repeating patterns across larger surface areas.

8. The ink is professional screen printing ink that is water-based, drain safe, and made in the UK.

9. Materials used so far include paper, fabrics, wood, plastic, clay and ceramics, all with the same ink. (Traditional screen printing would normally use different inks for different mediums, but ours is universal!)

10. Our special tape has been exclusively developed for Screen Sensation with a slight stretch to hold the screen taut for perfect prints. It’s also reusable, making it incredible value for money!

  • What do i think of Screen Sensation:

I think it is fantastic, Magical!!

I was very excited when I received mine. I love the ink colors and have used them on wood, fabric and card stock so far. The colors are vibrant to muted soft tones.
The print screens are crisp and clean and print out perfectly.
    They also clean up easily.

The construction of the print kit is very durable and sturdy.
Cleans up with just a wipe down with a wet cloth.

The storage kit and screen holder is constructed exceptionally well. Plus it holds 20 plus screens. The Screen apertures 12×12 and the 7×5 plus the squeegee and small supplies.

The tote bag is a bottomless pit of holding inks, stir sticks, tape, 7×5 screens, dvd etc. I had to purchase another one as I really over filled mine to the point of it was to heavy to lift and carry. I have over a dozen inks. I filled all the outside pockets deep and shallow.

My first task was to screen print 12 tee shirts out of 21. I did it and they all came out magical. Not to mention fantastic.

I screen printed on white glitter paper with the black ink and made a picture in a frame with it to hang on a wall.
Stunning. I used the owl wisdom and the lion pride.

I really could go on and on about Screen Sensation. I really think it is fantastic and I really think it is magic at its best.

I would love to see more new screen collections and see some of the old screens come back in stock. Like the Fantasy Flight the unicorn, The mask, the squirrel and many others that are and have been sold out for so very long. I would also like to see a collection of zodiac signs and things that are more whimsical.

I would also like to see the U.S. have some of the newer products that are offered only on the U.k. site. Like the Simmering inks, and the Fashion inks etc.

I check the Screen Sensation product pages on a regular basis. I also check out the Screen Sensation web site. Love looking at what is offered there.

I am in love with Screen Sensation and hope to be able to use it for many years to come. Thank you for a fabulous product.

  • I love my screen sensations. Its the best craft for anyone could you bring out more screens, and restock the ones that have been gone ? This is one of my favorite crafts.

  • yesterday I received one of my new orders from Create and Craft for screen sensation. I received the cdrom Make your own designs. I also received the Create your own screens and the stamp adapter kit Large.

The Create your own screens come with 9 yellow sheet about 9×91/2 inches and 3 clear screens to use for printing your own design. I think you could use these screens for both large and small aperture frames.

The Design your own screens cdrom check out my review aka Cupatea has over 300 designs. If you are a shoe person there are loads of shoe designs to use. Lots of eye glass designs and many other designs.

I also ordered the small screen adapter stamp set yesterday. I also ordered the Sparkle ink set.

I watched Hels and Martyn screen stamp sensation show and found it very helpful. Hels showed how to use the stamp collection set. I was only interested in one of the sets so I opt out of getting the complete collection.

I make foam stamps on my Brother scan n cut so I am interested to see if my foam stamps will stick to the stamp adapter.

The adapter is similar to the one Rare Earth makes.

You place your stamps down on the screen sensation grid then have your stamp adapter loaded on the screen sensation kit. The Stamp adapter kit comes with a grid as well to work in conjugation with the grid on the screen sensation kit.

Then you close it down so the acrylic stamps adhere to it. Then you lift it up and ink up the stamps with regular ink or with the ink from screen sensation.

You lower the lid and press the stamps on the adapter with your fingers. Lines everything up beautifully. I will be giving this a go and see how it works out for me.

I have lots of screen sensation products now and I regularly order more product or new product.

I too would love more new screens and old ones back.
I love the shimmer inks and would love to have them available for purchase here on the U.S. Site.

I am now awaiting more products to come in and for me it is always a treat when they arrive.

    Happy Screen Sensation Crafting.
